About Mossley Hill
Mossley Hill offers a safe, family-friendly environment with low crime rates, peaceful residential streets, and a strong sense of community. Much of the area falls within a Conservation Area, recognised for its distinctive sandstone walls, tree-lined avenues, and characterful Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Mossley Hill provides expansive green spaces for recreation and relaxation.
It is also home to Sudley House, a historic 19th-century mansion that houses paintings by J. M. W. Turner, the Pre-Raphaelites, and other renowned artists. Nearby lies Holt Field, a cherished open space gifted to the people of Liverpool, serving as a valued open area and recognised wildlife habitat within the city’s green corridor network.
