Our association is dedicated to promoting high standards of planning and architecture, advancing public understanding of our area's rich history and natural environment, and preserving features of historical and public interest. We are committed to protecting and enhancing our community’s physical and natural surroundings, while fostering civic pride through educational activities, events, and community involvement.
Mossley Hill offers a safe, family-friendly environment with low crime rates, peaceful residential streets, and a strong sense of community. Much of the area falls within a Conservation Area, recognised for its distinctive sandstone walls, tree-lined avenues, and characterful Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Mossley Hill provides expansive green spaces for recreation and relaxation.
It is also home to Sudley House, a historic 19th-century mansion that houses paintings by J. M. W. Turner, the Pre-Raphaelites, and other renowned artists. Nearby lies Holt Field, a cherished open space gifted to the people of Liverpool, serving as a valued open area and recognised wildlife habitat within the city’s green corridor network.

On Remembrance Sunday, Mossley Hill Residents Association Chairman Dave Thomas will, on behalf of the Association, join Mossley Hill Councillor Robert McAllister-Bell, Greenbank Ward Councillor Martin Madley, representatives of Merseyside Police, Rose of Mossley, and Liverpool City Council in laying remembrance wreaths at Mossley Hill Church.
The church invites our community to come together for this Act of Remembrance Service, honouring those who served and sacrificed.
Everyone is invited to attend and take part in this moment of reflection.
Thank you to our residents for sharing these beautiful photos from their gardens. Your contributions help us celebrate the charm and community spirit of Mossley Hill.
We all want our neighbourhood to be a pleasant place to live.
If you see vehicles parked illegally or causing an obstruction, please report it to Liverpool City Council.
Their website has details on what counts as a parking contravention and how to make a report.
A small membership fee for our Residents Association goes a long way in enriching our community. Your contribution supports initiatives that bring us together, strengthen our voice, and improve our shared spaces.
